Before last season, Marian Hossa had a reputation for being a good player who choked in the playoffs.
Over his career, he averaged .6 points per play-off game.
Last year, as a winger on Sidnery Crosby's line, he shed that image. He was clicking along at 1.3 points per game -- double his previous average.
This year, without Sidney Crosby feeding him passes, he is down to .7 points per game (and dropping). He has yet to score a goal against the Penguins.
Luc Robataille once said that a fire hydrant could score 40 goals playing on Mario Lemieux's line. I wonder how many Marian Hossa scored just because he was on Sidney's....?
