The AL Central is going to be quite a show, and frankly I can't wait to watch it unravel. The Twins last year began a two month streak that led them to the AL Central title, but I really don't think they're going to have enough in the tank this year to pull it off. With the loss of Liriano to injury and Brad Radtke to retirement, their bats won't have enough to pull them through. That, coupled with how incredible the Indians have done first half this year, and we're through. The defending AL Pennant winner Blanco Sox are looking far from stellar... on a parallel with the Card's. While I'm a life-long Brewer fan, I'm going to watch this race closely.
The NL Central is setting itself up quite nicely, too. Although I believe the 'Crew will be able to persevere and keep the steam they had the first half, they're going to be bit a few times by the recently-hot Cubbies. The rest of that division is a joke, so it's down to the I-94 rivals to make it interesting.
AL East: Boston. The Yanks are too disjointed, the Orioles aren't even to be considered, and the 'Jay's haven't been in contention since that World Series walk-off dinger by Joe Carter.
AL West: LA of Anaheim -- Hottest team in baseball right now, and poised to get even hotter.
NL East: Mets Mets Mets! The only NY team that I can handle (and I think it's because they've been in the shadows of the Evil Empire for so long).
NL West: Dodgers? D-Backs? Giants? Who really cares.
