Whew! We don't have to see the Astros for another month. Maybe we can put together some good streaks between now and then and the series won't have much of an impact. Who would've thought that the Pirates would rather face the Braves, Tigers, Twins, and Cubs, rather than the Astros?

For some reason Houston has our number. They seem to bring out the worst in the Buccos. Unfortunately that worst is reminiscent of the last 16 years. The last thing a Pirates fan needs is a reminder of how bad things have been.

The bad news is, the Astros are in our division. The good news is, we are only 4 games under .500 despite our astrophobia.

Let's go Buccos!!
