The thing is Athletes want to win 5 on 5 so if a little coaching goes on by the ref that is just smart hockey. You have to teach people how to play the game right. A smart ref won't want to decide the game on silly penalties.. I be Don Cherry shows this. He pointed to the penalty box.. said do you want to end up there... no.. ok use your head.
