Hey everybody, I know, I don't blog very frequently for this group. I have been occupied with sh, er, stuff, like blogging for Sexy Women of Sports. Who knew blogging could be such a pain in the ass? Well, I like blogging, but only when people read the blog and bother to comment. Anyway, I will only mention news in the MLB and the NFL, I am pretty sure you can find out the score somewhere else.
MLB News: Red Sox closer Jonathon Papelbon was fined for taking too long to throw out the 9th innings opening pitch. I can't stand the Red Sox and their players, but I find this an interesting rule.
College fireballer Stephen Stratsburg was the first pick of the MLB Draft, giving hope for a horrendus Nationals team. Assuming that everyone will expect him to lead the Nationals to a >gasp< respectable record, I give him a week before he snaps.
Raul Ibanez fired off at a blogger who said that Ibanez is probably taking steroids. In this era, everyone is a suspect.
The San Diego Padres pitcher Jake Peavy is out for at least a month with an ankle injury, a torn tibalis tendon.
NFL News: A judge presiding over the Sean Taylor( the hard hitting former safety who was killed by a burgular, for those who don't remember) case delays the hearing on wether or not the defendent can withdraw his guilty plea. My answer: No. Isn't life made a lot more complicated then it needs to be?
The Plaxico Burress gun case has been ajourned until September, the exact start of the regular seson. In other words, Plaxico Burress recieved a big fat middle finger from the jury and the judge.
Michael Vick was released by the Falcons, but is free to sign with another team. He deserves a second chance, I know, but I can never bring myself to like him.
I have noticed that these blogs have recieved about 20 views at max and 0 comments on average. What is the point of writing these f---ing blogs if no one bothers to read or comment. I will continue to blog for this group, until I get fed up with the lack of caring it seems to have.
