The game seven victory was a testament to the talent of the Pittsburgh Penguins and more importantly, to teamwork. My hat goes off to the the Red Wings because they also played as a team. This series exemplified all that is good in sports and competition. Both teams were gracious in both victory and defeat. There was no mudslinging and both teams played up to their potentials.

I am very proud of the Penguins. They represented themselves and the team with dignity and pride.

Now the hard part begins. They are now the target. Being young, they will now experience all of the distractions that come with being successful. Ego's must be kept in check in order for a team to live up to it's potential. I may be biased, but I believe this team is destined for more than just one Stanley Cup.

Enjoy the moment boys. Then get back to work even harder and smarter.
