This was a great fight. A fight that started with Miguel Cotto knocking down Joshua Clottey at the end of the first round, followed by an accidental head but that caused Cotto to bleed for most of the fight, while HBO was saying they would have to stop the fight.

Then in the 5th round a strange incident where it appeared that Cotto threw Clottey to the mat causing Clottey to twist his knee, which put Cotto in charge of the fight for the next two rounds.

And then in the 12th, Cotto accidentally hit Clottey in the back of the head. You can't really complain about the outcome (unless you're Clottey), because it really was that close of a fight. I really enjoyed it, the fans enjoyed it (90% who were rooting for Cotto), & I'm sure HBO was happy. Now I know boxing is in the doldrums right now. Everyone is obsessed with MMA. Sorry, can't get into that. It's a street brawl, no technique, but kids brought up on WWE eat it up. Me I prefer the "sweet science", but acknowledge that there needs to be true champions, not 4 different belt holders in each division representing different corrupt organizations.
