Dear Coach McDaniels,

I was one of the many that was quite upset when you let our Pro Bowl quarterback go.  And maybe I was a little miffed when I heard that news that Marshall was wanting out too.  You've been critisized for doing things your way, and your way only.  Well, I just wanted to say thank you.

No, I mean it.  Thank you for getting rid of the players that would eventually cause more drama than they're worth down the road.  Sure Cutler has a stellar arm but he's got the maturity of a fourth grader.  Of course Marshall has tremendous tackle-breaking ability but he also lacks in leadership and maturity.  If we were to hold onto these players, we would surely suffer under what the Raiders have suffered under for so long: talented players that have no regard for their team or their fans.

Denver and it's fans are hungry for another Superbowl.  We have sat and watched quarterback after quarterback and coordinator after coordinator come and go with no improvement to our team.  I want a dynasty like we had under Shanahan and Elway a decade ago.  I want to build a lasting foundation that will ensure our success in the future.  If your plan is going to bring us this success, then so be it.

I love the addition of Mike Nolan as defensive coordinator.  I love the addition of another veteran with character in Dawkins that can better our young defense.  I like the fact that you drafted Knowshon Moreno, a potential star running back that we have been lacking since Clinton Portis was traded.  I also like the fact (believe it or not), that we're taking a chance in Kyle Orton and installing a system that puts the team (and fans) first.

I was a big Cutler fan.  I was also a big fan of Marshall.  But their actions this offseason have proven that they do not have what it takes to win in this league.  Elway had the tenacity, the character, and the leadership ability.  Rod Smith had the same.  Terrell Davis had the same.  Shannon Sharpe, the list goes on and on and on.  That's what I want to see out of this team again.

Restore the prestige in Denver.  And do it this season, to silence the critics.

 Sincerely, a fan,

Shawn

Oh. Please! You were the same people that were cheeriing them on every Sunday and now all of a sudden have decided that you're better off without them. On behalf of all of us who still like Jay Cutler we would like for you to know that:
1) We don't know what happened between the broncos and Jay and frankly we don't care.
2) We want him to play well even if he's wearing a Bears jersey- we have no problem buying it.
3) We believe in the "concept" that everyone makes mistakes and he's no different. He took responsibility for what he did- that's good enough for us
4) If you're going to label Jay 'immature" please provide direct proff- we DO NOT accept hearsay. That includes about alcohol.
5) You don't kknow anything about him-all you know is what the media has told you -what a reliable source!
6) When he wins the super bowl, please don't generate a blog proclaiming "I knew he could do it!" Leave the partying to his fans.
7) We want him to be happy and if Chicago makes him happy, we're all for it!

And finally,
We love Jay and will continue to watch him play and grow as a person! We don't place all the blame on him because we weren't in the room. If you're glad he's gone... Leave it at that!

Go Jay!!

BS ... Perception is reality. If Jay acts like a baby and makes bad choices on the field in my and everybody else???s opinion, then that's what he is....a bad choice maker who pouts and puts himself over everybody else on the team. I don't wish him good luck. I hope he enjoys getting smoked by real defenses and I can't wait for his true "pro-bowl" talent to shine when his best WR is a kick returner and TE.

As for Marshall would love to walk up to my boss and demand a raise because I had a good year. Or better yet, just not show up because i didn't like my pay. B.Marsh's problem is that he knows his numbers are going to go down this year because he doesn't have Jay to throw to him 150 times a year. He needs to get paid while he can because he knows he is only going to see 75 passes come his way. He has a lot of talent, and 2 mil is a joke for all that he does, but demanding a trade so soon is just dumb. Why didn't any of this come up before the draft? Why is it just now that his salary is unacceptable? Sabotage, he knew the whole time that this is what he wanted. Public buzz over his name because he is still upset with the Cutler trade because it hurts his numbers. I hope Denver makes him play out his 2 mil contract and then franchise him for 25 mil, then trades him for used ball bag and Gatorade cooler.

Get used to losing games 55-10, 42-10, 39-20 etc kinda like your Broncos were the joke of the NFL while getting KILLED in those SB's. What a joke this Denver franchise has become!!
