It has been made official, Sammy Sosa tested positive in the anonymous testing that was conducted during 2003. He's just the latest huge player to full under the steroids era.
While it was believed in many circles that he did juice, there was no evidence. There were however warning signs:
-3 seasons of more than 60 home runs and a 5 year span where he averaged 58.4
-previous to that no season with more than 40 home runs
-corked bat incident
-pretended not to speak English in front of Congress
-general association with the era and times - a sad, but clearly not misplaced truth.

Corked bat has nothing to due with steriods and it is proven that a corked bat does not make the bat go faster. I watched a mythbusters on it
