Dirk should getsole custody of the child. I know this isn't really sports-oriented but I'm just looking out for the kid. The mom is obviously not right in the head. Dirk has enough money to support the kid and he seems like he would be a great father. That's just is.

that would be the logical thing for the courts to do, however, dirk may be in trouble on this one. if mom gets to keep the child (assuming it's dirks - have they confirmed this?) dirk will be paying for this child for 18 yrs..... lots of $$$$$$$$$$ based on his income.

It would be logical, given the mother's past history, however courts in the US tend to side with the mother on these things.
