Okay, I just joined fannation and decided to tell all of you about myself in a blog. I am a very big Oakland Raiders fan even though I've lived in the Dallas, TX area all my life. My parents and brothers are big cowboy fans. Bo Jackson was the player that caught my attention and made me a Raider fan. After his tragically injured hip that ended his career, Tim Brown became my favorite player. Coencidently 3-4-81 is my birthday (that's Bo and Tim's numbers. My family has Raider Birthdays as I like to call them. Dad is 1-6-50 for Jim Plunkett and Dave Dalby. Mom is 5-5-53 for Matt Millen and Rod Martin. Older Bro is 6-3-78 for Gene Upshaw and Art Shell. Sissy is 7-5-83 for Howie Long and Ted Hendricks (or Big Ben Davidson). Little Bro is 1-2-87 for "Ghost to the Post" Kenny Stabler and Dave Casper. Then my daughter is 3-2-00 for Marcus Allen and Jim Otto.
My family is very important to me. I live with my sister, who is recently divorced and my daughter who will unfortunatly never meet her father nor see a picture of him. I was a wild teen. I would drink at parties and started smoking when I was about 12 or 13 and had no problem sleeping around. My senior year of high school I took 2 big trips, one to Florida on spring break and one down to Corpus Christi for my graduation trip. Of course in Corpus I got drunk and met a guy that was also a Raider fan and we did it that night. Unfortunatly I witnessed his death the next day and after we left I felt it neccessary to take a pregnancy test and sure enough it was positive. My family did stand by me and supported me as long as I realized that it was my child to raise and I was to keep a job and they would watch my baby girl for me while I was working. My sister got married right after college and it became a very abusive relationship and when she came to stay with me for a while the second time I told her to file for divorce and she did. We recently bought a house together and are very proud of it. We are a happy family of girls.
I am looking forward to the Raiders season this year. We finally seem to be getting somewhere under Cable and I really liked the way Michael Bush played in the last game of last season. Lots of young players with great potential. GO RAIDERS!!!!
