The Miami Heat have decided to shy away from this month's NBA draft, and for good reason. They traded away their first round pick last season for current-day starting point guard, Mario Chalmers. With that said, this does not mean that they should toss away their two second round picks.

The Heat should give the hometown kid, Jack McClinton (A.K.A. J-Mac), a chance with the team. Whether they draft him at #43 or #60, J-Mac should have a shot with the team for various reasons.

I couldnt agree with you more on this...with 1 of those picks in the 2nd round i would select JMAC !

The kid can play/shot/score !

@MIAMISTUD24 No doubt. It's not like the Heat will find a great center or a better point guard than Mario Chalmers at #43 and #60. Miami already is loaded at the SF position so a PG/SG isn't a bad option. What's the worse that can happen, the draft picks don't make the team? Oh well, at least the potential is there and we should take our low-risk chances.
