Okay let’s say in this last draft every player in the NFL was available, Who would everyone take in the first round? Every Team will have its pick, there would be no trades. Tell me if I miss anything hugely important, and yeah this is basically a fantasy draft, but a little different

1.Oakland Raiders: Peyton Manning Manning has finally proven he can win it all, and He's the best QB in the NFL. Why wouldn't you take him with the first pick?

2.Detroit Lions: Tom Brady Another no brainier, Brady already has 3 superbowl rings and he's 30 years old, oh and he's got a good arm too

3.Cleveland Browns: Ladanian Tomlinson. TD machine 31 last year a new NFL record, He's already at 9176 Career Rushing Yards, and 100 TDs at age 28.

4.Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Larry Johnson Johnson is an NFL workhorse he had over 400 carries last year, and lasted longer than Chester Taylor who didn't even have half of Johnson's Carries.

5.Arizona Cardinals: Carson Palmer A 93.9 Passer Rating on an off year? You gotta be kidding me, He's only 27 and is already among the NFL's elite

6.Washington Redskins: Edgerrin James He had an off year last year, but the Cardinal's line was horrible, Barry Sander might of had a hard time producing behind it. He's got more years in him and is still in good shape

7.Minnesota Vikings: Steven Jackson Most people might have Shaun Alexander here, but Jackson is much much better. He's got great hands (90 receptions last year) Speed, Power, and decent Agility. A good all around back

8.Houston Texans: Shaun Alexander Remember Trades never happened. He's getting up there in years, but he's only 2 years removed from breaking the TD record in a season, He can still produce

9.Miami Dolphins: Frank Gore A little low here, but He' only had one good year, Michel Bennit had 1,296 rushing yards once, But Gore does have the ability to do it again.

10.Atlanta Falcons: Clinton Portis Portis averages 94 yards per game for his entire career. He is a very underrated player Speed, Agility, Power, You name it he's got it

11.San Francisco 49ers: Donavan Mcnabb Mcnabb has been injury prone these past two years, but he’s tough (he played through a sports hernia), when healthy he’s a beast, 18 TDs 6 INT in 10 games last year.

12.Buffalo Bills: Drew Brees 4,418 passing yards with a bunch of no-names, that’s unbelievable. I guess the Wideouts aren’t no names anymore, but he practically made that Saints team

13.St. Louis Rams: Marc Bulger A top 6 NFL QB, but is underrated. He’s never had a bad year, his worst passer rating in a season is 81.4 and that was his first year as a starter. Bulger is amazingly accurate, and has decent arm strength.

14.Carolina Panthers: Steve Smith High for a wideout yes, but it’s the situation that counts. Smith is Carolina’s offense. He’s amazing last year he caught 83 passes in 14 games, that’s almost 6 catches a game with Jake Delohme struggling.

15.Pittsburgh Steelers: Brian Westbrook A poor man’s Reggie Bush who runs a little better and is more aware. Westbrook proved last year that he can be an effective NFL RB when used.

16.Green Bay Packers: Reggie Bush

Bush is a great young Talent who will be the future of the NFL, He's Fast, can Juke, Catch and Break tackles moderatley

17.Jacksonville Jaguars: Calvin Johnson Johnson is an athletic freak 4.35 40, 43 inch Vertical, at 6’5 and 240 pounds. He’s gonna be the next Randy Moss but without the attitude.

18.Cincinnati Bengals: Ben Rothlisburger Amazingly He’s available here, Ben might have had a bad year last year but he’s more of a leader than passer. He’s the youngest QB ever to win the superbowl, fine he’s actually a good passer, his Career rating is 87.9.

19.Tennessee Titans: Vince Young He’s their QB, they’ll stick with him. Great athletic ability will eventually be an elite NFL QB, if he ever has someone to throw too.

20.New York Giants: Deuce Mcallister A great power RB with speed, Mcallister has proven he’s a great NFL Starter, Has rushed for 1000 yards every time he’s been given 240+ carries

21.Denver Broncos: Adrian Peterson

Uofmrules didn't like this pick so i changed it, Adrian Peterson again is a future NFL star, provided he can stay healthy.

22.Dallas Cowboys: Marvin Harrison The franchise QBs and RBs are running out, and Harrison is far and away the best WR in the NFL.

23.Kansas City Cheifs: Brian Urlacher The Best LB in the NFL, Urlacher hits harder than a freight train and is a proven leader on Defense who makes the players around him better

24.Seattle Seahawks: Champ Bailey Bailey is a future first ballot Hall of Famer who’s still in his prime, who wouldn’t take him here?

25.New York Jets: Tory Holt Holt is one of the most consistent WRs in the game. He’s always a threat to score anywhere on the field

26.Philadelphia Eagles: Randy Moss Moss has been off the past 2 years but he’s still got the athletic ability. He ran a 4.29 40 for the Patriots when the worked him out.

27.New Orleans Saints: Julius Peppers Peppers is the prototypical DE, He has acceleration, power, form and smarts he’s amazing. His Career low in sacks is 7.

28.New England Patriots:Ray Lewis

One of the NFL's all time greats, Lewis still has a few goo years left and fits in the Patriots defensive scheme quite nicely.

29.Baltimore Ravens: Ed Reed Ed Reed is the best Safety in the game, a true ball hawk who can play against the run as well

30.San Diego Chargers: Shawn Merriman “Lights Out” says it all, huge hitter who had 17 sacks in 12 games last year, if that’s not impressive to you I don’t know what is.

31.Chicago Bears: Antonio Gates He’s perfect, speed, hands, hops, size, and smarts, needs to work on his blocking a little though.

32.Indianapolis Colts: T.O Owens is a great WR but he has that mouth, which has caused him to drop in my draft. Tony Dungy would keep him in line if anyone will.

eagles wouldn't take moss, they wouldn't take another troublemaker, they would take merrimen or ray lewis over him

July 14, 2007  11:54 PM ET

Edgerin James is not a Top 25 caliber player anymore. Neither is Deuce McCalister. Both of these guys would have to wait until the 2nd round.

this was very creative but you needed to choose better players and a better variety. because whos going to build a team around chester taylor?

July 15, 2007  12:08 AM ET

Brees hould be over McNabb and Gore a litte higher. The Edge a little lower. otherwise its pretty good

July 15, 2007  12:20 AM ET

There would not be a single RB taken in the top 10, if this scenario would happen. You build team around the QB, not a RB- the only back even close to being in the top 10, would be LT. Think of it this way- on average how many superb years can a RB have as compared to a QB? If you are starting a franchise you take the best QB FIRST, unless most of the QB's left are not much better than average....
