DMV, your Washington Wizards have a deal in place with the Minnesota Timberwolves 1 day before the NBA draft. The deal includes Washington getting Randy Foye for a 2 year deal and sharp shooter Mike Miller for a 1 year deal. The Wizards have to give up: Oleksiy Pecherov (who cares, he stinks), Etan Thomas (dead weight), Darius Songilia (he was solid) and the # 5 draft pick who everyone says would not help the Wizards anyway. So the Wizards keep the 3 of Jamison, Arenas and Butler in tact, pluse they get a 16 ppg guard in Foye and a 3pt specialist who avg 13 ppg over his career in Miller. The only problem I see is that there is a log jam at the guard positions with Nick Young, DeShawn Stevenson, Mike James, and Javaris Critterdon.
All in all I believe it was a good trade as the Wiz dumped the bad contract of Etan Thomas, got some immediate help for the weak draft (as the stars of this team are getting older) and kept the core players together. It would have been nice to get Amare but oh well. Also, with all these guards Ernie may still have a trade or two up his sleeves, we will see.
OK folks, you've seen the trade now tell us how you feel about it or how the Washington Wizards will do this year.

I'm disappointed in this trade. No help up front and just got us another load of scorers,....don't we already have enough shooting guards? I hope we can put a package together to get another big or two....PLEASE ERNIE!!!!!
