Welcome to the 37th installment of Love it ? or Hate it ?..as usual we take a subject and tell you whether we love it or hate it.
We want you to feel free to throw in your 2-cents.
Humor us..tell us which subjects you love and which ones you hate.
The panel this week consists of Harry Callahan, i B4 e, Curly is on "vacation" in Argentina, KPKahder, rstowe, and our most special panelist - Jytoi
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leading off will be mock drafts. Do you love or hate all the mock drafts that fly around?

Its either drafty or it isn't. Are you mocking me?
Hate it and love it. I hate the idiot talking heads who think they know something. It drives me crazy when they come out with 13 1/2 mock drafts. I love mine though, and some other fans. I am usually just as accurate as the "experts" but I only put in about 14 minutes of effort into it.
Love it.
Very addicting time waster that i am now hooked on..love to see the order of the players for the new year and practice my tactics.
I do it on ESPN..sometimes when there is a group of jerks..and i get bored..i just start grabbing all the good QB's to tick them off.
hate them...normally done by a bunch of talking heads who couldn't find their butt with GPS and they're usually moot once all the wheeling and dealing happen on draft day. The only thing I even look for are players from my favorite teams to see where they might end up.
Hate 'em. I hate hate hate hate them. Its fun to sit around and speculate who will be going where - as amateurs.. but I hate when every sportswriter in the country comes up with who will go where and they are so damn arrogant and sure of it. I have never once heard an analyst who gets paid to do that crap, come forward and say, "yeah man, I had Ryan Leaf going first, what a faux pas .. I guess I really don't know what I'm talking about. I seldom read mock drafts unless they are done by a fan.

Next up to the plate is extending the NFL season to 18 games. Love it? or Hate it?

Love it.
In the long run this may effect teams teetering on the edge of getting in the playoffs actually getting in..but hey so what..it might just be my team doing the teetering.
I LOVE this idea. Lets face it, we don't need 4 pre-season games. 2 is sufficient enough. I personally would like to see the season go to 20 games so that by the time the season is over and the Super Bowl has been determined, spring training has started, NBA has started and we are in the midst of March Madness. Oh yeah. Lets go to a longer season. That way the Patriots can go
I think its wonderful. Those Lion fellows could be kings of the league and set a new record at 0-18
LOVE IT! You can't go wrong with more NFL. Especially if it means getting rid of 2 pre-season "games" and starting real football in August. I know there will be greater injury concerns with additional games, but that's what makes football great.
I hate it. Hate it. Hate it. Hate it. I love football, but I'm afraid that if they start adding games, it will lose some legitimacy. Baseball has 472 games, baseketball plays 234, hockey 429. I don't want the NFL to follow suit. But what I hate the most about it is that putz Peter King. He has been writing that he is vehemently opposed to the 18 game schedule, but I have proof where he thought it was a good idea as a way to fix the preseason. He is a two-faced blowasstard.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And now we present you the slackers. Do you love it or hate when NFL players skip off-season OTA's and "voluntary" camps?

hate it. All players should be at all of them, even the "voluntary" ones. I don't care if they can "work better at The U of Miami", they're part of the team and in the case of WRs and QBs, it's all about timing and you perfect that timing by working together more and more.
Hate them.
The caption of that picture should be.."My momma's ass is how fat ? punk "
No seriously the divas that do it.. think they are above everyone..like take Brett Favre..why is he always undecided on if he is playing or not ?..he already knows the answer..he is just waiting for all the hard work to be over so he can join the team.
Hate it. These primadonas are making a bazillion dollars a year to do this. Get your asses to work! If I skipped meeting and training at work I would get fired. I think the one who skip it are just a bunch of panty waist cry babies throwing hissy fits. Get over it and get your lardass in the weight room.
I'm ok with it for the most part. Typically, most responsible serious players have off season regimens and conditioning programs. If, a player were to consistently show up out of shape , then I would consider making it mandatory for that individual but there's a reason they are voluntary. Rookies, Free Agents that were signed during the offseason and anyone who was out for 2 games or more the previous season due to injury, should be required to attend however.
Hate it.
Those Redskins players pounding on each other ?..GIRL FIGHT !!!..i mean CAT FIGHT !!!..MEOW !!!
It always cracked me up when someone like T.O. would upsell an injury to ride the stationary bike while his teamates were busting their asses.
If i was the Q.B. i would be overthrowing a couple passes a day and bouncing them off of his head while he's riding the bike.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, we'll go with a sport near and dear to stowe's heart, bocce ball. Love it or hate it?

I have never played it but I have watched it. While consuming copious amounts of hops and barley based beverages. It's fun to watch but since I have never actually played it, I will have to say no love for it and no hate for it. I tolerate it. Just like I do Yankees fans.
Hate it. It's like me rolling medicine balls at a basketball..count me out.
Love it.
Whenever i hear the name Bocce Balls i think of the tour guide in the movie"Splash" when he sees a naked Daryl Hannah walking through the crowd at the Statue of Lliberty..
" The Statue is a gift from French citizens and has come to symbolize hope for naked women everywhere... BOCCE BALLS !!!"
Great game..i bought a set at Walmart for like $10..gets people out of their chairs when you break them out..also it's very beer friendly.
love it. Horeshoes, cornhole (bean bag toss for those uninformed), bocce ball etc, all great sports that you can easily play at any picnic/party with a beer in one hand...and we always play that the losers have to fetch the next beer for the winners (really good thing if the horseshoe pit/bocce ball is quite a distance from the beer). Plus, it's simple - closest to the ball/pin etc win the point, most points win - even drunk, sunburnt fools can do it!
Hate it. What the heck is bocce ball anyway? I hate it for one, it seems like a game only old men living in Florida play. Secondly, it sounds like something you get diagnosed with.
Doctor: I'm sorry Ib, but you have bocce balls
Ib: WTH? Is it serious?
Doctor: I'm afraid so. We may have to amputate.
Ib: That **** tr@mp Fifi. She swore she was with only one other dog

Well that's it folks..we hope you liked it..if not..as always..we could give a crap.

This has been an Asylum-3 production.

All panel members were at least 18 years old at the time of production. (Well except for Jyoti, but she did have an awesome fake ID)
Any panel member resembling a real person is merely coincidental.

Speaking of hot, it's hotter than two rats screwin in a wool sock here. We set a record high that last two days and they're calling for another one today. Since the 13th, we only had one day less than 100. It was only 97 that day.
To celebrate the heat wave which is expected to continue, I'm going camping next weekend.
