The make up of this team in this upcoming season is great, with the addition of Shaq. But they still need a spot up, great shooter, at the #2 spot Delonte West isn't tall enough to play SG. Danny Green who they drafted might be able to play that position but he won't have as much as production. Also the PF position is pretty bad. Andy is starting at #4 and Joe Smith is backing up. They need a young athletic player at that position. An good example would obviously be Lamar Odom but i'm gonna say John Salmons of the Chicago Bulls who can play #3 and #4. Cleveland will more and likely make it to the Finals this year, even with a healthy Celtic team, even with Orlando having VC. San Antonio is the favorite in the West in my opinion. Only, is Manu is healthy. 90% chance we will see a Finals rematch. It might be Boston and Lakers, Orlando and Lakers, San Antonio and Cleveland. Whatever and whoever wins the NBA title this year..will probably repeat the next year because how the teams are made up now is to straight up DOMINATE!
Top 2 in the West
1. San Antonio Spurs- With the addition of Richard Jefferson they get younger and quicker. Now they will be a top team in the West with one exception, Manu stays healthy. A new Big 3 is coming and coming quick, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Richard Jefferson. They just got to stay healthy, they stay healthy their heading to the Finals.
2. Los Angeles Lakers- The Lakers made no additions so far and still need to choose between Ariza and Odom. LA has some big decisions this offseason, but just keeping this team is not enough to repeat. They need a new and fresh addition to the bench. This is the team that will be my upset of 09-10 season. Until they make different additions they will stay at my #2.
Top 2 in the East
1. Cleveland Cavaliers- Cleveland made a nice addition by adding Shaq to the squad. They still a addition to the 2 and 4 spot (SG and PF). Delonte isn't tall enough to play the 2 spot. Anderson would be a good energy player from the bench but not starting. A tall, athletic, long range shooter would be nice, like John Salmons.
2. Orlando Magic- Orlando made a nice addition of Vince Carter. But, they weren't able to sign Hedo Turkoglu. I honestly don't think it's the answer to the Hedo problem. Now, there is 1.3 seconds left, Orlando ball Rashard inbounds..WHO DO YOU GIVE IT TO?? That is not a problem your team wants to face.

For that question regarding a buzzer beater, I think that a quick Howard slam would be appropriate. OR, an inbound lob to howard, which would work just the same. (1.3 seconds is enough for that I'd imagine)
Eh, If we (the Magic) lose Gortat, I'd like to see what we do for a backup center. We just got rid of Battie, and I don't like Foyle at all really.
I like your orders right now though. The only reason the Cavs would be better than the magic atm is because they countered our Howard with a better center than Big Z (O'Neal).

Oh, for that beater, don't forget we like to toss it to Lewis for that catch and shoot three he does where he rotates about 180 degrees. I'm sure VC could drive to the hole or something, and Nelson could do something too since he really is a good shooter, just only when he's 100%.
Redick is still a good shooter, I'm sure he could pull out a clutch three like that. Pietrus, eh. Not when its in the Finals.

Lewis doesn't necessarily have to inbound it either. Alternatively, that is enough time for him to inbound and then get the pass for a quick release as well. =P

I think in the east, Orlando is still a better team to than the Cavs with their addition of VC (though they lost Turkoglu). Even though Cleveland added Shaq, their offense will only stagnate. Granted shaq has more moves and power than Dwight, at this point his not as agile and quick; Plus Shaq was never as good a defender as Dwight is presently. Vince Carter is more skilled overall and crafty than Turkoglu albeit a few inches shorter. However, I think when K.G comes back, The Celtics will be number one in the East, even without the addition of Sheed as K.G brings that intensity, defence and versatility that changes the whole dynamics of the Celtic squad.
In the West though I still feel like the Lakers are still the team to beat (if they get LO, Trevor and Shanon brown to stay) as though San Antonio has made a power play with RJ, I still look at the two teams first twelve players and still go with The Lakeshow. As we all saw in the playoffs, the only production the Spurs got from their bench was from Mason Jr and even he wasn't consistent. Infact until I see how they mesh with RJ and how Ginobili ankles are doing (ps he needs to change his style of play a little) I'll still rank Denver over The Duncunnettes. So my picks are as follows;
The East; 1) Celtics 2) Magic 3) Cavaliers
The West; 1) Lakers 2) Denver 3) Spurs
