The LA Lakers are gonna be a mid-50 win season next season. I know most of you disagree with me. The LA team hasn't made any additions, show no interest in no other people (exception-J-Kidd). They might not have the cap space to sign both Ariza and Odom. They really have big decisions this offseason, and are really in bad shape. If the team makes no additions to their bench or anything they're not gonna repeat. If they lose Ariza (personally, I don't think they'll do that) they lose a good defender, he's young, improving shooter. They lose Odom, they lose a double-double man, long athletic, tall person. Either one, they're not gonna repeat. Even if they get both back they need another addition to repeat. Especially, with the Cavaliers getting Shaq, Spurs getting Richard Jefferson, and Magic getting Vince Carter.  Kobe Bryant is the best player in the world but it's impossible without a an addition to the PG bench.

Comment if you disagree about anything.

Magic getting Carter and Cavs getting Shaq did not improve either of those teams. Jefferson did improve the Spurs. My guess is the Lakers will pull in at least one additional player and will be back at the top next year.

the Spurs improved with RJ but lost a lot of their experienced guys on the bench. Plus now unless Oberto returns, they only have Mahinimi as a frontcourt player with Tim Duncan. I still feel like we'll deal with them simply by playing big. As for the Cavs, Shaq's presence at 37 (no where near as dominant as before) is a good addition but not enough to get them over the top. And though Vince Carter is a better overall player than Turkoglu, he lacks Turkoglu's height. The Magic has to completely change their style of play to fit in Carter as he is more of a slasher. We'll see.........

I think Spurs will wait until they get big one like Odom or try to trade in the season. RJ is ok but with him they will get the ring. No way Tim is older and start to get injured by contact and slow down the team chemistry. Like Shaq moving from this team to other and try to promise with big poket at the end of season. Maybe Cavs will loss LJ if they think their team is deep enough to beat Celtics next year.Lakers have to sign Odom and Bynum must improve alot 4 years is gone if not they will trade him, Farmer and Morison for good one to back up Gasol and odom and Artest has to learn the way Ariza did last year not his old style. I see Lakers still in the top team of the West. But will see their Roster will get better in summer training camp or not. Their moving is still ok for next 2 or 3 years.
