(ESPN) just got brought down to size by a little old (sports) reporter from the (Denver Post). Seems that the all powerful sports conglomerate was trying to intimidate (Adrian Dater) by pressuring the Denver Post to DELETE a blog on its website. The jist of the blog was that a certain reporter from ESPN was telling Dater that real sports reporters did not matter or were unimportant! This happenned at a baseball game between the (Rockies) and (Yankees) June 19th 2007. The ESPN reporter said"The real power in sports lies in INFOTAINMENT like ESPN and not in old fashion newspapers". The blog has been removed from the Denver Post's website ,but you can read the whole thing at "(WestWord.Com)" under the name Adrian Dater. It's a great article from Michael Roberts that every sports fan should read if you want to know what's going on in the world of sports reporting. I recommend it highly.
