The Eagles are very much improved from a 10-6 season, and with their talent and easy schedule, i excpect a 12-4 or 13-3 season from the birds. First, Donovan McNabb will need to play all 16 games for a 12 win season. He is ahead of schedule, but isn't he always. McNabb posted MVP numbers when he played until he got injured, but Jeff Garcia saved them from where they were going. I expect McNabb to post a 3500 passing yard season. B West is the key to this offense. Without him they are nothing. He had a career high 1200 rushing yards last year and was close to 1000 recieving too. I expect 800-900 recieving and a 1500 rusher, if McNabb lets him run. The defense is great. Jevon Kearse will be healthy, and him and Trent Cole at defensive end with Mike Patterson in the middle, the d-line is among league best. The linebacker crew of Takeo Spikes, Jeremiah Trotter and Omar Gaither/Chris Gocong is a great one, top 3 in the NFL. The secondary is good except for the free strong safety. Bian Dawkins is the second best safety in the league but with partner Micheal Lewis in San Fran, they got problems there. Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown will hold out fine. they better, that's their only corners worht respect. As for Dallas, "Uh-Oh Romo" should be emotionally and physically ready for 07, with the playoffs long gone and a full mini camp as the starter under his belt. Romo will not do as good as i hear people predict he will. i do see him throwing for 3000 just because of the recievers he has to throw to- Terry Glenn, T.O, and Jason Witten. Marion Barber will start because of his great 06 even though he did not start. Julius Jones had one of the least impressive 1000 yards last year, why he will be demoted to number 2 of this 1-2 punch. the defense, headed by DeMarcus Ware and Terrence Newman, will be a top 16 D, possibly top 10 if another great corner or linebacker erupts. The Redskins have only room for improvemant after a 5-11 year and drafting high prized safety LaRon Landry. Him and Sean Taylor will devaste opposing offenses. The Skin's have a great secondary, but they need a rush defense. they failed to get a great d-lineman this offseason, but something they need even more then rush D is a quarterback. Mark Brunell failed and is now washed up, Jason Campell got the experiance from last season and should be the starter, Joe Gibbds is smart. Cambpell is lucky enough to have Sanatana Moss and Antwaan Randle El to throw to and he has, in my opinion, the second best 1-2 running back tandem in the NFL. Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts. Betts had 1000 yards filling in for the injured Portis, who had 1000 in 2005 and pretty mcuh every year before that! watch out for the skins. The Giants are my pick for the worst team in the NFL this year. Eli Manning sucks, just flat out sucks. Brandon Jacobs is okay, no experiance and Reuben Droughns can get you 600-700 yards anymore. Hey, they went 8-8 last year with Tiki Barber. now they don't have him, ? I predict a 4-12 year. True, the recievers are good with Amani Toomer, Jeremy Shockey, Plaxico Burress and rookie Steve Smith. But they won't get catchable passes, so who needs them? the D will carry this team to4 wins, with Micheal Strahan and Osi Umenyiora at the ends and Brandon Short and Antonio Pierce at linebacker. The secondary will be nothing more then average, head by Sam Madison. The MVP of the NFC East for 2007- Eagles RB Brian Westbrook.

I agree with your order and most of your commentary. However -- I think the 'Skins shored up their rushing defense and pass rush by picking up Landry (hear me out here) in that, not only because he was outstanding as a blitz defender and against the run in college, but in that having that same physical presence on BOTH sides of the secondary (don't forget that he'll play opposite Sean Taylor) will lead to "coverage sacks" and force opposing QBs into their third or fourth checkdown, rather than just an automatic slant to whatever side of the field Sean Taylor's not playing on (or whereever Archuleta IS, but that's another story). So, while less direct than picking up, say, Amobi Okoye, I look for Landry to contribute to some improvement in the play of the 'Skins front-7 this year. God knows they won't have to be THAT good to show improvement.
