Did you hear?

Ron Artest is signing with LA.  Holy crap.

Sorry Cleveland, looks like James is going bye bye because the Lakers big 3 is just too good.  Boston fans thought bringing together 3 aging players was good, but the Lakers have 3 players IN THEIR PRIME!

Artest is an older, better version of Trevor Ariza.  He's more polished on D and his 3-point jump shot is more consistent.  And his scoring is much better.

Gasol's production is likely to unchange because he is so efficient, and with 2 all-star perimeter players, that efficiency is only going to go up.

I think it's very likely that Kobe averages 8 assists this upcoming season, he has NEVER had a supporting cast this good while he was this mature as a player.  We know he can do it, he did it in the finals.  And he's the primary ball handler and is one of the best passers in the game, despite not doing it that much because there was never a reason to.

It used to be double Kobe, rotate to double Pau.  Now it's, fuck this is to hard just let them win, because let's not forget the dead eye shooting of Fisher and the improving post game of Andrew Bynum, both of which just had their lives made even easier.

You know they lose Ariza.....I will take Ariza because you know you can win with him, since you just did. Ariza is younger and played great. And Artest is Artest.

lakers fans are worse then oakland raiders fans imo

artest might be a head case, but he is a baller. period. he is the only player to average AT LEAST 15 ppg. 5 rpg. 2 spg. without a ring on his finger. everyone is talking about the fact he does`nt fit in the triangle, or he holds on to the ball too long. BLAH BLAH BLAH! You think Kobe and the Zen master are going to let Ron ruin the chemistry. I don`t think so. If Artest wants to win a ring, he will come to L.A. and follow Kobe and phil`s lead. Which i think he will. As for Ariza, he`s a good player. Helped the Lakers out tremendously, but hes not a reigning defensive player of the year. He struggled in Orlando came to L.A. and had a career year. He shot like 30 percent higher than his career average this year. That`s good, but Artest is more consistent. He also is a better overall player........................................................Welcome abord Ron Artest. The Lakers are going to be back to back champions of the NBA !!

.394 fg % 0.277 3 pt % playoff avg, and a guy that's never played a full season. ya that's beastly.

They will still be the favorites, and have a great shot at winning again. However, i don't think this signing is as great as some might think.

Yes, Artest is Artest. One of the best defensive players in the league who can shoot and create for himself.

People underrate Artest's abilities and overrate his hot temper. He hasn't really done anything since the Pistons brawl.

I didn't like the move initially, only because I was looking at Ariza's bigtime contributions to the Laker's championship this year (and he just seems less nuts than Artest). But, from a basketball perspective, it's brilliant! Kobe now has even more weight off of his shoulders offensively and defensively, Pau and Bynum won't get as banged up as they did, and the other role players can relax some as well.

And on top of all this, we still have one of the most solid bench squads in the league. LA is in VERY good shape right now! I'm with you on that Confucius.

One more thing though, and don't take this personally, but did you have to do Jesus' name like that?
