Yes. Very tragic about what happened to Steve McNair. . . and not only him but Ms. Kashemi as well. Such a tragic way to die. I have my own--as well as many others--speculation as what may have happened, going by the evidence that has been broadcasted so far. But I'll just leave that for another time.
I was certainly shocked when I first saw it on the news I believe on Saturday. My son earlier had told me that someone named "McNair" had been shot or found dead or something like that. At that time, he had told me while I was just waking up from a nap, so I was still a little groggy and didn't really associate the name with the Steve McNair. Just seemed odd or surreal. Seems odd and surreal particularly when you've watched a talented athlete such as Mr. McNair. When you've watched him perform at his best--at his highest level. Can't help to feel a certain connection to anyone such as him
So just want to say to his family as well--particularly his wife who apparently did not know about her husband's affair--that I hope that they will be able to navigate through this tragedy and overcome its difficulties. I'm hoping and am sure that they will have a lot of help through family and friends. Hopefully, the press will allow his family the time to recover.

The Nashville police have confirmed a murder-suicide. Also that McNair had another mistress. He didn't deserve to die but I won't glorify him either. While his talent on the field was good, it wasn't spectacular.
