So, Mr. Rasheed Wallace didn't want to come to San Antonio to play with the Spurs? Didn't want to play with big three. . . Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili? C'mon Sheed--what did living in Detroit do to your head? What does Boston have that San Antonio doesn't? Sure, more championships. But lately? The Spurs were set to pay you about the same amount of money. . . midlevel exemption I think it was called. You and the Spurs could have made beauuuuutifil music together.

So, didn't want live in "Podunk" as what the idiot Charles Barkley called it. Ehh, what does he know? He never won a championship (except maybe when he beat one-hundred year old Dick Bavetta in that foot race a couple of years ago) and was probably in one of his stupors at the time he muttered that remark. Yeah, it's a desert down here. Been in the hundreds for about. . . the last few decades seems like. Yeah, the summers here are very hot and the heat lasts into the Fall as well; but it cools down by about the time the season starts.

Hot weather can be hard to take down here, but we have a/c just like everyone else. We're not that backward down here. So, why would anyone want to live in that dank, dark megalopolis of Boston/New York/Washington D.C. I'm sure they're nice places to visit, but to live there. . .? I personally think you must be afraid of playing the Los Angeles Lakers about five or six times during the season and then possibly in the playoffs afterwards.

For that reason, I guess I really can't blame you for not wanting to come here (even though-- I'm sure-- Pop would have given you a couple of those games off so you could "rest your knees" or you could have called in sick just like Manny did couple of years ago or so when he didn't want face the Yanks). I'd be scared myself. The Lakers do seem to have the Spurs number. . . but you may have been the one who would have put them (the Spurs) over the top.

Well, the Shaqers himself booked it back to the Eastern Conference (His reason being he wanted to help King James win a championship [right--wink, wink]. Hey New York Knicks, think Shaq would've gone to Cleveland if he thought LeBron was going to over there to you?), so I guess you're in good company. Well, good luck to you Mr. Wallace. Enjoy visiting all those historic sites.
