I hear everybody all over the country saying who cares about the Knicks, the answer is more than your team most likely. 

In regard to David Lee, where is he going to go, his agent pretends to be like a scott Boras but this isn't baseball, nobody in the league seems to have much cap room.  Lee isn't going to settle for the same money as gortat, he could goto the Jazz for Boozer and the knicks get another expiring contract but they should just go 4 years 30-36 million, with a structure of 8m, 6.5, 10, 11m or something like that with the smallest cap number being 2010, with an opt out in 2011 so he could be a 28 yr unrestricted free agent.  Also he has more endorsment potential wth the knicks, ask gillete or his marketing agents I have played cards with.

Then they could sign Lebron,Wade is a possibility, if he leaves the heat word is he would play for the Knicks,Bulls,Lakers, and maybe the Pistons, Kobe could be a free agent, ariza left and odom may also, and the only place he would play other than La is New york. 

Nate Robinson is simple, he signs a one year offer, agrees to a contract next summer if he wants to stay and refrains from signing until the knicks aquire somebody big than they could give robinson whatever, the knicks aren't afraid of Luxury Taxes, they have had bigger payrolls than baseball teams and have been horrible so if they are good they'll make a fortune.

I feel it is very possible that they can land a superstar next summer but they have to have Lee or Boozer, and Nate, than goodbye hughes and harrington in 2010.

How about I throw out this, just imagine if the the knicks have the cap room and go after both WADE and Lebron James!!!

Now David Lee and Nate Robinson feel disrespected, thats an agents line to get more money, it worked for Jorge Posada to get a 4 yr contract at 37, but this isn't baseball with no cap and the yankees, this is the nba with a shrinking cap and a team that has been screwed since they couldn't just let Patrick go without starting a cycle of bad trades, both these guys will make more a season than most of the world champion knicks in the rafters!!!, so where is the real disrespect!!!

nate robinson and his agent confirm they believe nate will remain with the knicks for atleast the next season.

david lee though frusterated with negotiatons turned turn 32 to 40 million to play for the blazers, so where else would he go and who has cap room, Lee and his agent are trying to get 11 to 12 million per in the 4th or 5th year of a five year deal with a much lower 2010 salary, seems they will eventually find middle ground between 4 yrs at 32 and 5 years at 50-60 million that Lee is aking for

07/27/09 nate robinson about to sign a deal for atleast 5 to 6 million for 2009, though unrestricted next season he could still agree to a new contract and sign after any big signings or trades.

07/28/09 now there is no agreement with the knicks and nate, this team is pissing me off, sign the players, u won't get anybody in 2010 otherwise!!
