Last weekend I had the pleasure of devoting my Saturday morning to help the Holt brothers Torry and Terrence at there football camp held at Eastern Guilford High School near Gibsonville N.C. I have been to football camps before but never like this one it was organized to perfection by Nick Barkley who is head of the Holt Foundation from the state of Indiana. The campers there were two groups ages 7 through 10 and 11 through 13 a total of 160 kids attended from surrounding elementry and middle school's. When I helped with the the kid's I alway's thought it was very important to make sure the kid's were hydrated and they did they had that covered well. Like I had stated previously that I never have been to one like the before. When I was coaching or helping at a camp there was a fee for the kids to attend like next week here in Danville Va. Buddy Curry and Ferrell Edmunds are putting on a camp called Kid's and Pro's  and it's $119.00 per person where as the Holt's camp was free.  I also bought two Wilson Juinor game ball's down with me and asked Torry and Terrence to sign them and make sure one kid from each group got a ball and Torry said to me,"why don't I sign them and you take them back home with you and give one away and you keep one and I said I bought them for the kid's for you to give them he shook my hand and said that's great of you to do that. I really wished I could have helped more than I did. At break between sessions I went up to the tent and eat and chatted with family members Torry's dad Odell other kin people and his wife Carla who remembered taking a picture of me and Torry out in Las Vegas back in May of 2007. As I was driving back to Virginia I remember thinking how lucky Torry was to have such a great family and how nice and down to earth they all were also praying that Terrence get's another chance in the NFL this year the NFL sure needs more guy's like Torry and Terrence in their League now.
