By the title, you probably already hate me, but oh well. I think Mike Vick has been wrongfully screwed by the NFL and deserves at the worst a reinstatement back in.

Micheal Vick was completly wrong and out of line to do what he did to those dogs and we know he did. He was wrong to lie about it. He was wrong. I understand that, but his punishment was too severe. I have heard reports that he lost around 250 million dollars in contracts and endorsements. He was in jail for two years, that alone can be hell. He has been out of football since 2006, the thing he loves to do. Micheal Vick has served his punishment.

And then I see Donte Stallworth get barely a slap on the wrist for killing an innocent person in a DUI and he doesn't go through nearly as much as Vick. No two year jail term. No two year football hiatus. No 250 million dollars lost. No fair.

Vick has been treated cruely, in my opinion. Roger Goodell should reinstate him. He did his time like you made him, now let hime back. A team will sign him, I could see the Raiders. But he deserves a second chance. Yes he was wrong in making dogs fight and killing them and lieing about it, but did he deserve his multiple sentences? No, I don't think so. And how Stallworth killed someone in a DUI accident and hasn't suffered nearly as much sentencing, and humilation by the public, is simply beyond me.

i agree, what he does now that hes paid his time will be huge

ok yes there is an extream that did take place with Vick, but what he went through was nothing compared to what he should of gotten, he had to pay for each one of those dogs to be rehabilitated and to find them homes, what is the government supposed to pay for that even though Vick had the money to run the opperation, just not to clean it up. And what Vick did was no accident it was a continus choice he made! Stallworth did mess up bad, but that was an accident he did not plan it nor did he mean for it to happen, Vick knew what he was doing and contiued to do so for two years! I own pit bulls and its because of people like Vick people are scared of my dogs even though they are teddy bears who love to play and snuggle because people think they only have fighting on their mind, and it breaks my heart that these animals suffered too! they were ripped apart, starved, beaten, and other unimaginable crulty's that no animal should ever suffer! So why does Vick deserve a second chance in life when he took so many second chances away from animals that only come into this world to be our compainions? Answer me that?!

k, first off i own a pitbull too and shes a great dog. but they are aggressive, its not just because of Vick that people are afraid of them. They can attack people whenever they want to. And Stallworth still killed a human person, and no matter how you feel, people come before animals and both were killed in each instance, and it is sad that they were. I do feel bad for the dogs, trust me, Vick screwed up. But he deserves a second chance and was punished severly while Stalloworth was not. Stallworth serving 30 days in jail for DUI manslaughter is a joke to me.

but it was an accident! thats the whole point im not saying its makes it anymore right or wrong. the whole point is he did not get into is car saying "i am going to hit someone and kill them" vick went willingly into fighting and brutally killing these animals and it was intentional, neither side is right and neither side should be allowed back in. No side should be granted permision back in, you break the rules you suffer the consequences! In real life outside of the of the football field if your just an average person and you have a felony, you a branded for life and everything pretty much closes on you, same should be for any athelet, no one is above another persone. Period.

i agree with that, but vick and stalloworth deserved at least the same punishments. vick was humiliated by the public for killing dogs and he did his time and he deserves a second chance. i think if i killed dogs, being just a normal person, i would be allowed to come back to society and get a job. vick should too.
