You know, I hate getting excited about the Texas Rangers. There have been years the Rangers would make the playoffs, end up playing the Yankees in the first round, and get their ****e$ handed to them. This year however, the Rangers actually look like a team that can and will compete in the playoffs this year. People usually blow off the Rangers after the All-Star break, but the Rangers are keeping their chins up and beating teams they need to beat. If I am not mistaken, the Red Sox, in the past have been a thorn in the side of the Rangers for a long time...the Rangers pull a sweep over the last 3 games. GOOD JOB BOYS!!! So, what do you think, are the Rangers becoming a team to beat, will they make it past the 1st round of the playoffs?

i agree.... who says the rangers will even make post season play? i'd bet that they don't and if they did, making it beyond the 1st round is very unlikely. they are the "rangers!"
