Juan Pablo Montoya had the car to beat yesterday. That is, until NASCAR decided to alter the race outcome. Juan was penalized for going over the pit road speed limit. This cost him a chance to go in the record books as the only driver to win in both series at the hollowed ground of Indy. Having been there, the race I attended was not only boring but hard to see from turn two , I just don't identify with the mystic of this place. Anyway back to Juan. There are several reports of multiple cars speeding during the race on pit road. Why is it that only the #42 was penalized? Did NASCAR wish to make it a Hendrick race to win? Only the director of competition and NASCAR know since no recorded pit speed times have been released nor will they.
