ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-Recalcitrant receiver Brandon Marshall reported to the Denver Broncos headquarters on Monday. He missed all offseason workouts while rehabbing from hip surgery and protesting his contract and his medical treatment from the team.
Marshall, who has asked for a trade, reported to camp along with the quarterbacks, rookies and other players coming off injuries. The first full squad workout is Friday.
Marshall skipped the team's voluntary offseason workouts while rehabbing from his hip operation in March. He then boycotted the mandatory minicamp in protest of his $2.2 million salary and what he felt was the team's misdiagnosis of his hip injury last season.
Marshall, coming off back-to-back 100-catch seasons and his first Pro Bowl appearance, had hoped to follow Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler out of town, but he has no leverage to force a trade.
