OK here r my predictions for the NFL this season...I'll go thru nd give my end of the year standings (I'm only going to post the teams tho, no records), the playoff standings, and my playoff predictions, at this time, from there.

End Of Year Standings:

AFC East: 1-Patriots, 2-Jets, 3-Dolphins, 4-Bills [Nobody comes close to a Patriots team with a healthy Brady here]

AFC North: 1-Steelers, 2-Ravens, 3-Bengals, 4-Browns [The Browns and Bengals just are'nt good enough as of now in my eyes to b ahead of the Steelers and Ravens]

AFC South: 1-Colts, 2-Texans, 3-Jaguars, 4-Titans [Colts are still the team to beat without Dungy, and my surprise pickm of the year! The Texans! But it will be a close finish between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place...any of these 3 could be 2nd and the difference between 2nd and 4th will be no more than 3 games...that close!]

AFC West: 1-Chargers, 2-Chiefs, 3-Raiders, 4-Broncos [Even with the Chiefs good off-season, minus the loss of gonzalez, they r not good enough to beat the Chargers in the West. And the Culter controversey really ruined the Broncos, they hav a slim chance at 2nd in my eye but will probably be fightin the Raiders for last.]

NFC East: 1-Eagles, 2-Redskins, 3-Cowboys, 4-Giants [The T.O. move was honestly a good thing 4 the Cowboys, but the Haynesworth move 4 Washington was even better and it makes them that much better and they win the #2 spot in this division. And as for the Giants...they lost the 2nd head to their 3 headed monster running game and with Burress gone Eli neither has a true proven #1 anymore nor his favorite target and both his numbers and the team is goin downhill. But of course, since it is the NFC East, it will be close]

NFC North: 1-Vikings, 2-Packers, 3-Bears, 4-Lions [The Lions r still the Lions so they hav about a .000000001% chance to move up. Then it's pretty close between the other 3. The Bears could easily move up...their offense is good now thanks to the acquisition of Cutler, it's all up to the defense whether or not they win the division, even make the playoffs or just sit at home after week 17. Then it will be very close between the Vikings and Packers. The Packers need a little better D to win this division tho]

NFC South: 1-Falcons, 2-Saints, 3-Panthers, 4-Bucs [I don't see the Panthers having as good of a year as last year and same with the Bucs. The Panthers' running game will still be amazing and overall the offense all depends on how Delhomme plays...how he did in the regular season or anything like he did in the playoffs. And i dont see there defense as threatening. The Falcons and the Saints are close enough when it comes to overall offense, but I think the Falcons will win it because their D is just a little better and gives them a slight edge]

NFC West: 1-Cardinals, 2-Seahawks, 3-49ers, 4-Rams [The 49ers and Rams are still at the bottom of this division. But if the Rams stay healthy nd their D steps up big time they could move up. And i dont think the Seahawks r good enough yet to win this division over the Cardinals. The Cardinals could easily lose this division to the Seahawks tho. There offense is still amazing and i dont think droppin James is goin to hurt them at all now with "Beanie" Wells playing with Hightower...it's up to their D.]

AFC Playoff Standings: 1-Patriots, 2-Colts, 3-Steelers, 4-Chargers, 5-Ravens, 6-Texans (surprise!!!!)

NFC Playoff Standings: 1-Eagles, 2-Falcons, 3-Vikings, 4-Cardinals, 5-Packers, 6-Redskins

Playoffs:

Wildcard Weekend:

6 Texans @ 3 Steelers: 9-20 [Texans will barely make the playoffs nd will get beat easily by the Steelers]

6 Redskins @ 3 Vikings: 10-17 [The Redskins offense wouldnt stand a chance against this D and the Vikings running game would be too much for this D]

5 Ravens @ 4 Chargers: 14-17 [This would be a really good and close game but the Ravens D is great, just not as great as it was last year with Ryan as the DC and Scott and the Chargers offense is just too much for 'em]

5 Packers @ 4 Cardinals: 34-27 [Both offenses will do great against the opposing D but i like the Packers D to hold up a little better]

Divisional Playoffs:

4 Chargers @ 1 Patriots: 24-13 [A rematch of the AFC title game to go against the Giants in Superbowl XLII...the Chargers will come in looking for revenge but they won't get it. The Patriots would take this game with little opposition]

5 Packers @ 1 Eagles: 10-27 [This is always a good match-up come January. And call me a homer but as of right now I think the Eagles' D will be too much for a still relatively Rogers and the Eagles get the W and move to their 6th NFC Championship game in the last 9 years]

3 Steelers @ 2 Colts: 17-24 [Even without Dungy the Colts will manage a win...the D will step up again against an good but not great offense and the offense still has Manning, just with that they hav a fighting chance though I see the running game be utilized more to help him get some time]

3 Vikings @ 2 Falcons: 23-17 [The Vikings D will make enough stops to let AP do his thing and run all over this D]

AFC/NFC Championship:

AFC: 2 Colts @ 1 Patriots: 21-31 [I don't see the Colts winning this game without Dungy. And the Patriots D will hold up just a little better against Manning than the Colts' against Brady. (As much I hate to say it)]

NFC: 3 Vikings @ 1 Eagles: 13-17 [It will be close game, and the Vikings will wanna get back at the Eagles for knocking them out of the playoffs last season in the Wildcard. But I see the same results as last year, just not as high scoring as the 14-26 game last year]

Superbowl:

Eagles vs Patriots: 14-24 [Look at this I hav a rematch of Superbowl XXXIX, whoda thunk it. Even being an Eagles fan I don't see the Eagles winning this 1 either. Their 2-minute drill still sucks and unless they miraculously perfect it throughout the season I sadly see another ring for Belichick/Brady's Patriots in the near future]

OK thats was my Pre-pre-season preditions. I'm 99.9% sure that they will change in some way (prob with the Eagles moving further and further down the NFC playoff rankings knowing Reid throughout his time in Philadelphia) so look for another blog with updates to these predictions after the Pre-season, then probably about every 4-5 weeks, whenever i get the chance.
