*(Note) I am not condoning what Michael Vick did to those dogs
Michael Vick has been reinstated into the NFL conditionally. He has also recieved some support from PETA and the Human Society. But is still being judged by society as a Dog Killer and inhumane human being. But what many fail to realize is that when Michael Vick was a child, he was brought up into dogfighting, from his Uncle.
So how do all of a sudden growing up with dog-fighting your whole life, you all of a sudden change just because your in the NFL??? Thats not as easy as it sounds. It just like a acholic or drug attic going through Rehab. Its difficult.
The Majority of Hip Hop mainstream stars grew up in a street filled with drugs/violence and sex. Thats what they now. They grew up on this mentality. Yes the likes of Jay-Z, Puff"Sean Combs" Daddy, Kanye West, Nas, Common have become powerful voices, executives and Street Pioneers. They have shown that you could come from nothing but able to end life with the best.
I also dislike the violence and drug part of Hip-Hop but thats not my place to tell somebody to stop. It has to come from within that society to make a change for the future generations.
Michael Vick should not be judged no more on what what did or how easy he got off. But now on the way he has changed his ways. On how he will present himself in society. He payed his debt to society and deserves another chance.
Just like these record lables have given these Poetic minds a second chance at fame in the Hip-Hop Industy.Until he screws up again Michael Vick is clean in my books.
There is no way in HELLL that all the back up QB's in the NFL are better than Michael Vick. He can come into a a team with a star QB and be a solidfy back up.And run the Wild-Cat offense. I think teams are just scared of the bad publicity from the fans. Its not a team-win decision, but a P.R decision
Let Michael be judged on his skills on the field and his new character.

Anyone who supports any team on which MV plays, is saying that his crime wasn't a big deal. He may have paid a debt to society, but MV needs to be deprived of the spotlight and go get a job that will teach him some honor instead of feeding his need for power and worship from the masses. Are people in this country that desperate for entertainment that they will say his cruelty is no big deal? Accepting him back with open arms to make millions and reward him with adulation just goes to show what a depraved society we are.

What about Leonard Little , who killed a man in a DUI??? He got to play.. Whats the difference...Stalworth isnt getting much P.R. hit from his DUI and he was on weed also at the time??? If the world can accept O.J.. I think we can accept Michael Vick

Great blog, like you say he's paid his dues! He's clean in my book as well. On another note, I grew up in the South, dog fighting was very popular, have a very good friend who's father was a trainer and dog owner / fighter. Went to many fights as a kid, it is a culture thing, especially in the black community. I now know its wrong, wouldn't consider going to a fight.
Show me a man who hasn't made a mistake, he can cast the 1st stone!!
