The non-waiver trade deadline (which is basically as it sounds - the deadline for making trades without subject players to the waiver process) is this Friday. We've already seen a bevy of moves in Major League Baseball, capped off by the Phillies' acquisition of former Cy Young winner Cliff Lee.
But what about the Cubs?
They haven't made a big move yet, but could one be looming on the horizon? There is certainly no shortage of rumors surrounding the Chicago Cubs this week, but nothing concrete.
Most of the rumors are focused on lefty relievers, but there are a few positional player rumors out there, too.
