Don't sweat the technique. Lamar Odom and Jerry Buss have shaken hands on a deal to retain L.O.'s services for the next 4 years, with a team option on the 4th @ $33 Million.

Odom was a key cog in the Lakers' latest run to the championship, averaging 12.3 ppg, 9.1 reb., 1.8 dimes, and 1.4 blocks in 23 playoff games. Odom also shot a team high 51.4 percent from three-point range as LA defeted Orlando in five games for the franchise's 15th NBA title. Now look at those numbers again. That is the epitome of versatility.

UPDATE

Lamar declined a 5yr/40 mil deal to go to the Portland Trailblazers. Now thats loyalty!

Seriously, someone convince me how L.A. is not the sure fire bet to win the NBA championship again.

With a roster deeper than a tectonic plate L.A. brings a beast of a line-up to the table that will bring the noise to an arena near you.

And now the anticipation of the soon to be released NBA schedule with a Lakers Vs. Cavs match-up on Christmas Day has made me pee a little.

LA-MAR YOU READY TO RUMBLE!

Here is what the Lakers Starting 5 looks like.

Kobe Bryant

Pau Gasol

Ron Artest

Andrew Bynum

Derek Fisher
