The ravens offense isn't looking too hot. The Ravens will suffer if
they try and move to a passing offense. When the ravens didn't control
the clock with the running game, their defense got tired quickly, and
we lost.
In order to have any shot at keeping our defense as
good as it is, we need to stick to the running game. Unfortunately, we
don't have a proven running back. After losing lorenzo neal (to the
raiders of all teams), our running game is going to suck.
1. Willis Mcgahee. Injury prone, old, never a great running back.
2.
Ray Rice. Seems to be an ok back, but did not do well running up the
middle, more of a reggie bush running back, catching the ball in space
and speeding down the field. 2 yards a carry, about.
3. Leron
McClain. Had a good year last year as our leading rusher, but had to
move back to FB after Lorenzo Neal left. Probably won't be getting as
many carries, but a decent blocker.
As a ravens fanatic, I can't see any of these guys doing well. Maybe mcgahee, or rice if he has a breakout year.
Our line will be good, but unless mcgahee stays healthy, we will not be beating the steelers.
Our
defense is good, I think we will stick to the same crazy formations on
defense. Greg Mattison, our new DEF coordinator, has been there for
ages as the LB coach. We have a ton of talent on the defensive side,
and should be fine, as long as our offense controls the clock.
I expect to have a winning season; I don't know about the wildcard, but we will have at least a 9-7 record.
