Yeah, I live in the south, yeah I like country music, and yeah, most call me a redneck.

bBut, I do not screw my relitives, I graduated high school, I'm about to start college, I'm not a meth head, and I only get drunk on weekends.

Another thing is the stereotypes about country music.

I have never heard a song that says anything remotely close to what most of you Billy Yanks say country music is about.

The only song I have heard about a dog is Feed Jake, and that is a song about a man asking God to take care of his dog if he dies.

Plus, a lot of you think this new watered down pop "country" is what the entire genre is.

I'm here saying that the new crap you here is merely pop wih a southern accent unless you venture into the Texas Country with Hank Williams III.

Old country is NOTHING like that, and outlaw country is the best music ever made.
