Sept. 13 at Cincy, debut games away from home don't inspire confidence specially a 33 yearold Rookie coach which has antogonized half the fans in Denver. Prediction Bengals 28- Denver 14. Week 2. The Browns come in to town and does anybody know "Who" will be the starting Q.B. for the dog butt Browns? I'll go with the stable Orton and talented rookie Moreno. Prediction Denver 21- Cincy 7. Week 3. The black hole in Oakland is intimidating to most teams, but the team is as bad as Al Davis' mental stability. Prediction Denver 31-Raiders14. Week 4. Dallas and Little Romeo come to town,but the bad news for the Cowboys is that Rookie coach McDaniels will out coach the laidback Phillips. Prediction Denver 21-Dallas 14. Week 5. On The Sunday night PrimeTime Match Up of the early Season, It's the Master against the Pupil. Bellichick v.s. McDaniels. Prediction New England 38- Denver 31. Week 6. Going to San Diego and upsetting the defending AFC West Champs is too much to ask for a team in "Rebuilding/Transition" mode. Prediction Chargers 41-Denver 21. Week 7. The Bye week comes at the perfect time for this new regime to regroup. Week 8. Once again on the road against a tough defense! The Broncos' defense starts to gel and McDaniels shows his offensive genius as his Rookie runningback takes over the game. Prediction Denver 28-Baltimore 21. Start the Monday Night music, It's the SuperBowl Champs Steelers invading MileHigh Stadium and running all over the poor Broncos. The new version of the Steel Curtain holds Denver to one touchdown late in the game. Prediction Steelers 35-Denver 7. Not bad for a rebuilding team, going .500 in the first eight games, right?

Maybe 6-10 for the season? Looking at the Bronco's roster, it's not all that encouraging.

I don't see them sneaking a win from Dallas, they could be a top 3 team this year with all of the work to up team chemistry. But I don't think that Cincy will beat the Broncos... no with Chad O. doing his usual team destruction. Also, Don't be suprised if Denver can beat the Chargers.
I'm not saying it will happen but if Denver comes out of the gate stronger than what everyone thinks, the Chargers will be very beatable. There fragile running game will hurt them.

The roster on the defensive side worries me. The offense will be "Good" in time maybe even this year, but the "D" will need time. The Chargers "window" of opportunity is closing fast, this may be their last year to make it to the Big Game, Denver will be better next year and so will the Chiefs and maybe even the Raiders if Al Davis stays out of the way...
