There was a list today that came out. It published the 103 MLB players who failed their drug tests in 2003. It included players such as Pedro Martinez, Magglio Ordonez and Alfonso Soriano. This list may be fake but I have a hard time believing some person would waste time making a fake list of 103 players that took steroids. And even if they list was fake, there is still a real list out there.
My question here is what do you do with this past era known as the "Steroid Era?" Do you ban all players from the HOF that played from 1995 to 2005? Do you start over all MLB records in fear that they may be tainted? The MLB is losing fans like crazy. I know I was disapointed to see some players that took steroids, some were players that I looked up to.
What do you do with this steroid era? I say that you ban every player that has ever been even rumored to take steroids that had their prime years in this era. If they are still playing, I say suspend them for a year. Hopefully a new message will be sent to fans and players.
This was just something that was bugging me and I wanted to let it out.
