I just want to talk for a minute on what I thought was the best golf course I've ever played in the Myrtle Beach area and I've played about seventy of them. Last week I had the opportunity to play golf four times at Myrtle Beach. My brother had four course's lined up and two of them were free. I met up with him on Tuesday evening for the first round and it was at Aberdeen Country Club. I was very very impressed with the course it was twenty seven hole's the Highland's, Meadow's and the Woodland's. I just want to say I didn't see a flaw in the course at all if it had one I sure didn't see it. It was a golfer's dream you could not have asked for anything any better. The course was set up for every different handicap golfer from scratch golfer's to the one's who shoot a hundred it had something for everybody. The course was very fair the par fives were reachable in regulation and a couple was even reachable in two. The par threes ranged from 115 yard's to 185 yards. The green's rolled real good the fairway's were excellent and so were the tee boxe's you could tell the green's keepers were doing there job. I would put the first four holes of the Woodland's up against any four holes at any course at Myrtle Beach as far as being a holes that will challenge you. I met a couple of the staff members Mike and Steve Shaffer who is 1st assistant they were really great guy's. So I said earlier I was going to play four courses and two of them free I turned down the free golf and paid to play Aberdeen it was just worth it to me to play the best course. So if anybody is headed to Myrtle Beach and loves to play golf be sure to give Mike or Steve a call and make your tee time at Aberdeen Country Club 701 Buck Trail Longs,SC on highway 9 just ten minutes from Cherry Grove you won't be sorry
