Tonight was another tough extra innings loss. There were a lot of things that could be questioned. There usually are in a loss though aren't there.
It wasn't bad enough that we send out our closer who to put it mildly hasn't had the best of luck lately and made him pitch the eleventh. I was very impressed that he gout out of the inning unscaithed due to his past perfomances lately.
What do we do then? What anyone would do with a guy that has enough trouble getting out of one inning without losing the game, you make him go out there and pitch another. I can't wait to hear logic behind that one.
I realize that I am sounding a little harsh. I usually am not this way, and I promise that all of my posts will not be this derogotory. After all I am a die hard Chicago Cubs fan and we are only three games behind, so it ain't next year yet folks!!!
