Now that the shock and awe is almost over for the Michael Vick Experience lets get down to the real reason why most people should be in a Uproar over Vick and his re-instatement to the NFL. It has nothing to do with his crimes against animals, his jail sentence or if he's truly remorseful for his life-long activity involving dog-fighthing; at the end of the day you must give Vick his forgiven due and let him move on and live his life like any other convicted felon that has served his time and is now re-acclimating his/her self back into society. The bigger issue is will we forgive Vick for what he did on the field prior to being suspended by Commissioner Goodell? I say no  because he still is what we thought he was before, a player with great athleticism but average quarterback skills

Journalist, bloggers and fans have fallen victim to the common theory 'out of sight, out of mind' and that's understandable but it's time for reality to bite and remind us the type of player Vick used to be since his inception into the NFL back in 2001. Most fans of the pigskin think Vick will play receiver and running back now that he's back in the NFL, it is highly unlikely he will consistently play that position--just because he was a elusive runner as a QB that doesn't mean he can make that transition to playing that position exclusively--if u remember 5 years ago during the preseason Vick tried being a running back, when he was flushed from the qb pocket, and as he was running down the middle of a field a defensive linemen blindsided him and tackled him while also breaking his ankle. A player who has running back or receiver instincts would know how to handle himself in the open field, Vick doesn't because he's never had to do that, he's a QB and if he has any value in the NFL the rest of his career it will be from 'behind center' playing Quarterback. But that's where the problem surfaces.....

Michael Vick was a very Average QB prior to his suspension and I don't see how that's going to change now that's he's back; if anything he's going to be worse than he was before--considering he's not in football shape and he never had a chance to stay current on the how the NFL has changed during hit time away. He wasn't very accurate as a QB, reading defenses wasn't a strength, more times than not he took off and ran when he should of been more patient in the pocket and he's not a very big QB either (he's smaller than Drew Brees, which is saying a lot because Drew stands 6'3 on a good day). Vick is now a Eagle but I don't see him being any more than a glorified backup in the NFL from here on out, fans are excited but there excited off his previous potential which isn't a whole lot if you really break it down; the first season of his suspension ('07) there were rumors that his starting job was going to be in jeopardy if he didn't get the Falcons deep into the playoffs. So its funny to me how Vick has transformed into this QB savior that every team would be blessed to have. I don't think so, the so called vaunted 'wild cat' offense that Vick will apparently be running worked a bit last year but that was last year, NFL defenses adjust quickly from year to year and I would be shocked if any team in the whole league scored a TD from that formation.  It's nice to see a man get a second chance in life but in the NFL a second chance is no guarantee of success!
