Miami Hurricanes 2008 leading rusher, RB Graig Cooper has suffered an injury to his lower right leg.
According to the AP, Cooper missed Tuesday's practice and was seen wearing a "protective boot" and ESPN reports that it as an ankle injury, which coach Randy Shannon says is "nothing serious."
The Hurricanes open the regular season in Florida State against the Seminoles and are 5-point underdogs.
