I'm a Packer fan, and I have to admit that Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings is a bit disappointing..I may have just made the understatement of the year.  Brad Childress is a desperate, desperate man..this is obvious based on how he's handled this.  Everone's just supposed to believe that everything was settled after just one phone call, after 3 weeks of no communication.  It's absolute nonsense to think that.

Brett Favre says that, "real Packer fans would understand", really Brett?  Aren't real fans supposed to want their favorite team to crush one of their rivals?  Wait, I'll check...yes, yes they are.   Brett still seems to think that fans will worship the ground he walks on when he comes back to Green Bay.   What real Packer fans would understand that he went to one of the teams big rivals?

I still think Green Bay can win the division..and that's not just homerism talking.  Brett Favre is who he is.  As much as he says he knows he has limitations people honestly want to believe he'll remember that in the 4th quarter of a tight game?  Minnesota is relying on a nearly 40 year old quarterback to put them over the top?  As well as Brett knows the offense..he of all people should realize there's so much more to it than that.  You don't want to be a part of training camp, yet you want to be a part of the football team.  Training camp makes football teams, you might hate being a part of it, but it's necessary.

Brett, is still a legend to me but some of the luster is fading.  I hope it's worth it Brett.

i don't understand nor do i like this move at all, especially on favre's side...can't think of how bad it is to you packer fans. I think he should have stayed retired after he retired the first time, i believe he is just messing with his legacy, and not in a good way. I, along with many other people especially Packer fans I'm sure, have lost so much respect for him with this retiring-unretiring. He should have stayed retired as a Packer! And even though he didn't i still hate the fact he signed with the VIKINGS, thats just cold on his part

I agree Thug....there's got to be a segment of the Vikings locker room who doesn't like the fact that he's there now.
