Last night's game reminded me why the Bears traded away Kyle Orton,  He's efficient between the 20's but falls apart in the "Red Zone".  Let's forget for a moment the whole Cutler/McDaniels saga and look at the future of the Broncos.  Jay Cutler will be a great Q.B. for another team besides the Broncos and once we accept that we can move on.  Anyway, Sunday's game showed me the real "Future" Starter at Q.B. for the Broncos and his name is "Not" Kyle Orton.  I saw a ROOKIE quarterback throw the ball with strength and precision, while the ball got from point a to point b in a hurry.  His name is Tom Brandstater and he's got all the tools necessary to run McDaniels' system.  He reminds me of another Tom who was a young Q.B. when he replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe.  Let's not forget who drafted this Tom B. he's also the former offensive coordinator for the other Tom B. I'm just saying there's alot of history being repeated here, don't you agree?

Anyone looks better than Orton. I saw Brandstater play at Fresno, and he never impressed me. Pretty good chance Denver drafts a QB early in the first round next year. Cutler will be rubbing Denver fan's noses in this debacle for years to come.

broncos starting QB should be........................... CUTLER

Brandstater did look good. But I think Orton can be a solid QB for a while. Never going to be the solution, I promise that. I just don't see Brandstater getting a chance. If the season goes the way many are expecting it too, Denver will take a QB in the draft even if they take an overrated QB. Same thing happened with Bradley Van Pelt. He seemed to have a future in the Blue & Orange, always did good in Pre-season, and had the mobility that Shanahan wanted, but draft day came, Denver took Cutler and that was it for BVP.

McDaniels has a proven record of taking nobody's and turning them into Quality NFL Q.B.'s...

I didn't realize that already having Tom Brady and Randy Moss would allow him to be classified as having a proven track record. Cassell benefited from one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL . Cassell is a system quarterback and without those weapons everyone can see it. If you take a job on a team that's already built-life is good (see Norv Turner). There were only a few teams interested and now we see why-McDaniels went shopping and got burned-DEAL WITH THE FALLOUT. No one would've done that deal because it doesn't make sense because the broncos traded in a Porsche and got a Pinto. It's their own fault.

Great car references Vee, but instead of a Pinto for a Porshe, i say we got a "Gremlin" those cars used to blow up by themselves...

I wanna see Brandstater. We don't need more confusion in the Red Zone. I'd like for once be on the 5 yard line and at least have a little bit of hope that we can get 6, or with Kyle Orton, not turn the ball over.
