Blog 7 of 12. The first game of the college football year comes on in about 2 1/2 hours, so I think I have time to get all my predictions in. Still, no time to waste. Now let's look at my Conference USA predictions:

C-USA East


1. East Carolina 8-4 (7-1)

2. Southern Miss 10-2 (7-1)

3. Marshall 7-5 (5-3)

4. Memphis 5-7 (3-5)

5. UAB 1-11 (1-7)

6. UCF 3-9 (1-7)

C-USA West


1. Houston 7-5 (6-2)

2. UTEP 8-4 (6-2)

3. Tulsa 7-5 (5-3)

4. Rice 4-8 (3-5)

5. SMU 5-7 (2-6)

6. Tulane 2-10 (1-7)
