Ah it's that time of the year again. Football is back and it is good. I will be back with a season preview and how I think the divisions will line up later today, but first let's take a look at the opening game of the 2009-2010 NFL season featuring the Super Bowl Champion Steelers against the Titans.
Tennessee @ Pittsburgh 8:30 ET NBC
Can the Steelers repeat, that is the question? Emotions will be high as the sixth championship banner is hung at Heinz Field tonight and that will be a huge boost to Pittsburgh. Their defense is just as good as last year and Big Ben will have another solid year. Provided that "Fast" Willie Parker and Santonio Holmes are completely healthy, the Steelers should have a great year and will start off fast against the Titans. I am not high on the Titans this year. The loss of Albert Haynesworth is huge. And does anyone really think that Kerry Collins is going to have another year like he did last year? I say no, and the Steelers defense will contain Chris Johnson and LenDale White tonight. It will be a tough game, but the Steelers win a close one.
Prediction: Titans 16 Steelers 20
I will be back with a season preview later and a preview of week 1's games later. As for now, have a good one.
