Personal Note: The non-conference games this week are pretty lousy. The one marquee match-up (USC at Ohio State) figures to be a one-sided affair, and the rest do no more than perk interest. It's seriously time for schools to beef up the cupcake infested schedules, or the first month or so of football won't even be worth the time or interest, and there won't be any need for polls until mid-October or so.
