Fannation, you know I love you, right? I find you charming and witty and well informed...
But enough with the lists, all right? Every other blog I read is just a list. In fact, just to fit in, I'm creating a list of my own:
Top Ten List Topics I'm Tired Of:
- Best Athlete Playing a Given Position
- Best/Worst Teams
- Ultimate Draft For the Year Of...
- Most Underrated/Overrated
- Best/Worst Trades
- Nicest Arenas
- Biggest Jerks (Barry Bonds is 1 through 7 on that list)
- Greatest Finishes
- Records That Will Never Be Broken
- Unforgettable College Traditions
Don't get me wrong. There are some very thoughtful lists out there. I especially appreciate when you tell me why you think Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Peyton or vice-versa. But with all the budding David Letterman's out there, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a little creativity.
Why not give me a list of the best tailgate dishes or the best baseball players you're pretty sure never used steroids? How about the best sports books?
The point is, my Reds are out of the playoff chase. Football is still a few weeks away. I'm a little bored. So, please, give me something new...unless, of course, you want added to my list.

Very clever post! LOL. It's hilarious! However, I assume that when you address the letter to "Fannation" that you are addressing the USERS of Fannation? They're the ones posting the lists. There are not many lists actually in articles.
