I was watching PTI today, and I was stunned about what I heard. A Starting Pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Ian Snell, threatened to kill whatever Colorado Rockies player that he thinks stole signs from him. KILL!

Is it just me, or is this the MLB's worst moment this season to date? I can't believe some psycho would threaten to kill someone over something that might not have even occured. I addressed this in an earlier blog, but whether they like it or not, all athletes are looked up to, and should act accordingly. An athlete is under the media's eye 24-7 and need to remember this. I know there job is to play the sport, and not to be a role-model, but signing their contract, they know that they will become one. It just sickens me that people care so much about a game as to threaten the life of a fellow ballplayer. I think that Snell's actions should be recognized and severely, SEVERELY punished, as well as forcing him to attend frequent therapy/psychologocal help
