Living just about 37 miles from Husky Stadium in Seattle, I've heard alot of conversations this week about Univ of WA starting to return to a competive team deserving respect. Sarkisian a former Offensive Coordinater at USC. Has stated he will expect the team to execute and play hard.
Week 1 LSU came to town and won but they made players at UW believe that this will not be anything like the 0-12 team that could have lost to several highschool teams in this country in 2008. They blewout Idaho. But lets be frank - it was Idaho and Washington gave up more yards then they had although was a blowout.
Now the week that UW was beating a patsy, Ohio State had the game, was playing at home at the shoe, and did what they do. They lost the big game. Another year of yap but little else. And there was no injury to "Wells" to blame it on.
So here comes USC to little ole' washington. A team the trojans pounded 56 to 0 last year. True last year, after beating the Buckeyes, USC travelled to Oregon State and lost. But the Beavers of Oregon State were not a team coming off 12 losses.
Funny, how the bark is back in Seattle, but Ohio State is left with just a shrill yap (not even a full bark) as they talk about what could have been.
