The Difference
The difference between winning and losing is the width of a person's hair. Even though it is apparent that the turnovers cost Dallas the ball game. There is an intangible that is not obvious and that is that the Giants know how to win and find ways to win while the Cowboys find ways to lose the "Big" game.
Defensively
The Cowboys run defense stopped the Giants vaunted running attack which can just wear a defense down to submission, but it was Eli's passing that beat the Cowboys. The Cowboys decided to have put the game in Manning's hands betting that the Cowboys' secondary would pull through. Obviously this did not happen.
Offensively
The Cowboys running attack ran wild against a defense that is as tough as they come. Unfortunately, Romo had his first bad game of at least 6 bad games that he will have. This is why the Cowboys can go 13-3 or 9-7 in a blink of any eye. Besides a couple of penalties the offensive line played lights out by allowing the running game to rush for over 200 yards and their pass protection was very good as well.
Coaching
Jason Garrett again wants the offense to go through Romo even when the running game is keeping them in the ball game. Once again, Garrett fails to recognize the hot hand and adjust to how the offense is playing.
