Now don't get me wrong, I know it was against the Bengals and the Browns, but where did this come from?
Week 1 Denver only let it one TD and this week none! They are getting 3 and outs and actually stuffing the run.
I was worried about this year because we lost Jay Cutler and we are switching both schemes. I thought that with the trade of Cutler, we would bolster our D with a stout MLB to run the middle of the field (I want Ray Maualuga super bad). But we took Moreno, and Robert Ayers. I guess we used one of them on Alphonso Smith, but we could have used that on Ray M and prob. gotten Smith later in the draft. Our only big offseason pickup was Dawkins, who most people consider over-the-hill. My only answer is that it must be that this D had talent, but no coaching. Shanny was always bringing in these D coordinators that were okay, but not great. Now with Nolan, Denver might be on to something.
Oh and by the way... Dumervil is the man. 4 sacks, hech yeah.

First time on a msg brd. Bronco fan 4 life. Hated what went on this offseason. The d-fense looks good. Just can't help thinkin what this team could do with last years offense.

If we had last years offense, we wouldn't have this years D. The rumor is that Shanny was fired because he wouldn't fire Dennison as D-Coordinator. And there was no way that Shanny would hire Nolan because he doesn't keep ex-head coaches on staff.
